Divorce Portuguese Style: Roundtable

This roundtable, held in Lisbon in a closed, confidential format with no photography or recording, looked at why relationships come under strain after a move abroad: shifting roles between partners, the patterns that tend to show up, and ways to protect a relationship before it breaks down.

The conversation combined short expert input from psychologists, lawyers and mediators with real accounts from participants and open Q&A, including how separation affects children. As one attendee put it, "everything discussed remains within a space of trust." Held with the support of Open Gate Portugal Association.
