Terms & Conditions
By using opengateportugal.com, you agree to the following terms.
General
The site is owned and operated by the Synthesis Open Gate Portugal Association, a non-profit association registered in Portugal. The site's content (text, photos, videos) is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, or medical advice.
Joining the Association is free and does not require payment. Filling out the form on the site is an application, not automatic membership; we will contact you to confirm.
For questions about these Terms, please write to us at info@opengateportugal.com.
Events, Registration and Donations
Event registration takes place through the built-in Wix Events system.
For paid events (tickets):
-
A paid ticket is generally non-refundable, except if the event itself is cancelled by the Association (in which case we will refund the ticket in full). If an event is rescheduled to a new date, your ticket remains valid for the new date; if the new date does not work for you, please write to us at info@opengateportugal.com.
Donations made through the site are voluntary contributions to the Association's activities, not payment for goods or services; as a general rule they are non-refundable, except in cases of a clear technical payment error (please write to us and we will look into it).
Gift Cards
At this time, the Association does not sell gift cards through the site. If this service is offered in the future, separate terms will apply and will be published on this page before sales begin.
User-Submitted Content
By sending us photos, reviews, comments, or other materials (for example, when registering for an event or through a form on the site), you confirm that you hold the rights to these materials, and grant the Association the right to use them for non-commercial purposes related to the Association's activities (for example, on the site or on social media), with attribution where appropriate.
Limitation of Liability
The Association makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of the information on the site, but does not guarantee its completeness or timeliness. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Association is not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the site or participation in events.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new version on this page. If you have questions about these Terms, please write to us at info@opengateportugal.com.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes related to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Portugal.
