Fado Concert in Lisbon

Billed as "not a concert, an encounter with Fado," FATUM was an intimate evening performance by Dina Paulista, a VGIK graduate, photographer, Portuguese-language teacher and fado singer, combining live fado with English-language storytelling and archival visuals.

The narrative drew on research conducted with the Museu do Fado and musicologist Rui Vieira Nery, research that contributed to fado's recognition as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. Held with the support of Open Gate Portugal Association.
