StartUp Visa for starting a startup in Portugal

To get the StartUp Visa to start a startup in Portugal, follow the plan:

2. Find support: Look for incubators, gas pedals or investment funds in Portugal that can support your startup. Getting support from such organizations can help you in the StartUp Visa process.

3. Register with the Nacional de Incubação de Empresas (Sistema Nacional de Incubação de Empresas - SNIACE): Registering with SNIACE allows you to get "startup" status, which gives you access to special programs and benefits to grow your business.

4. Prepare the necessary documents: Prepare the following documents:


  - A copy of your passport or other identification document.
  - A detailed business plan describing your business idea and development plans.
  - Letter of support or agreement with an incubator, gas pedal, or investment fund.
  - Proof of financial solvency to support your business intentions.
  - Other necessary documents required by the StartUp Visa program.

5. Apply: Apply for the StartUp Visa to the appropriate authority in Portugal, such as the Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (SEF - Foreigners and Borders Service) or the Portuguese Consulate in your country of residence.
